Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, Praxis Labs. Elise founded Praxis Labs with the objective of making workplaces work better for everyone. She previously worked at IBM Watson where she helped build the first generation of Watson for education products during the early phase of AI commercialization. During her tenure at New Schools Venture Fund, Elise supported a portfolio of investments for innovations in learning with a focus on DEI, soft skills, & leadership skills training. Currently based in Los Angeles, Elise finds inspiration in the city's vibrant energy and enjoys running, hiking, and playing tennis with friends and family. Elise holds a B.A. in Geography and Social Inequity from Dartmouth College, and an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University.
