I have been at Family Tree for 25 years working as the HR coordinator, Director of Human Resources and recently VP of HR. Family Tree’s HR department is small with only me and part-time recruiting and benefits admin support. I touch all aspects of Human Resources at Family Tree. The organization has shifted attention to engagement and retention but I still spend much of my time on all facets of HR. Family Tree is a non-profit human services agency providing innovative, life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. Family Tree has been rooted in the metro Denver community since 1976, and recognize the intersection among child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. And, based on Family Tree’s expertise, we change how individuals, families and communities see, respond to and overcome these challenges.
